Conducive conditions arise in Alberta for severe storms Monday
It could be a stormy Monday night across parts of the Prairies as conditions will be conducive for severe weather in portions of Alberta, with strong winds and large hail being the primary concerns
Folks in Alberta will need to be weather-aware through Monday evening as yet another setup for severe storms is in place.
A large area of the province faces a threat of non-severe storms, including Calgary and Edmonton, but a swath of regions west of the two major cities could see a chance of severe weather through Monday evening.

The main hazards will be strong winds, large hail and heavy rainfall in any severe storm that does develop. Areas at risk will fall along the foothills, including Banff, extending up to northwestern areas of Alberta and northeastern B.C.
Storms are expected to develop Monday afternoon, with the risk staying in place through the evening.
Be sure to keep an eye on local weather alerts throughout the day so you don't get caught in any of the stormy weather.
