In Photos: Southern Ontario faces mid-week snowy blast

Snow is falling across much of the province and is expected to continue throughout the week. Heavy amounts are expected in lake-effect areas, making roads slick and slow.

Ontario anticipates another round of snowfall this week, with snow expected to pile up across much of the province.

Midweek storms may bring 5-15cm of snow, with some areas away from lakes receiving 10-20cm. This will blanket streets and slow down commutes.

Lake-effect snow squalls may also add more snow to communities southeast of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, intensifying winter's grip.
