May's not so grand finale in Ontario, but early summer weather arrives next week
April-like weather will end off the month of May in southern Ontario, but signs of early summer weather will be here sooner than you think
This spring has featured an abundance of April-like weather across southern Ontario. Such conditions were very well received when mild weather dominated the month of March, but it has become less popular as it has lingered through May.
June will begin this weekend, but we will have to wait a few more days to enjoy more typical June weather. April weather is going to make one final appearance this weekend.

Friday starts the weekend out on a pleasant note
As we head into the weekend, Friday will actually feel like late May and most of the day will be quite pleasant with a mix of sun and cloudy periods, and near seasonal temperatures.

However, during the late afternoon, and especially during the evening, showers will track across our region. We do not expect a prolonged period of rain, but the passing showers could be disruptive if you have outdoor plans during Friday evening.
MUST SEE: Your allergies could flare up in the coming weeks. Here's why
Sun and clouds Saturday, but with winds keep things cool
Saturday will be cloudy and windy with sunny breaks. We do have a low risk for a passing shower, primarily very early in the day, but most of southern Ontario will stay dry. Sunshine will be more abundant to the west of Toronto, while clouds will be more dominant across eastern Ontario.
Temperatures will be well below seasonal on Saturday, and with the northwest wind gusting at 50 to 70 km/h, it will feel more like late April rather than the final day of May.
Gusty northwest wind kicks off June in a chilly fashion
Sunday will be sunny with cloudy periods with a risk for a passing shower, but most of the day will be dry. Temperatures will be more typical of late April across most of the region with a gusty northwest wind as we kickoff the month of June.

After a chilly weekend, we will see a pattern reversal for next week with a quick transition to early summer weather.
