First snow: Here's what you need to know to get your day going in London, Ont.
Buses have been cancelled for Middlesex, Elgin counties and the Red Zone
The Catholic District School Board and the Thames Valley District School Board has closed all schools in Middlesex and Elgin county, including in Strathroy, Delaware, Dorchester, Parkhill, Lucan, St. Thomas, Aylmer, West Lorne and Glencoe.
All school buses in Elgin and Middlesex counties, as well as the red zone, are cancelled for the day because of snow, but buses in Oxford County and within the city of London are running on schedule.
Schools in London and Oxford County remain open. Sorry kids.

Ontario Provincial Police were reporting multiple crashes on Hwy. 401 early this morning and asked drivers to slow down. "Motorists may continue to experience poor visibility and road conditions due to weather," an OPP officer wrote on X.
Cars were also stalling on London roads, with some having trouble making it up hills without snow tires.

About 9 cm of snow fell at the London airport overnight, but further south, some people were reporting 60 cm of snow, said Environment Canada meteorologist Nadia Jagdo.
"We're forecasting a 10 to 20 cm range today. It could possibly be a little higher," Jagdo said. "The band seems really intense over the London area, with a snowfall rate of about 5 to 10 cm an hour."
The snowfall is expected to taper off by mid-morning.
The next few days will be warmer, Jagdo said. Environment Canada is predicting flurries or showers on Wednesday, and a high of eight degrees and sunny by Thursday.
"If you are going out today, give yourself extra time on the roadways," Jagdo said.
